10:50 am - You're nothing but a PC Thug!
PC Thug - a politically correct writer who says extremely controversial and unfounded statements of history and/or public figures not because they honestly believe it, but more for attention or shock value.

My fall semester is over!!! I'm so happy. I finally passed accounting. I'm trying to decide if I want to take statistics during winter break, but I'm not sure just yet... I really would like a break from school, but it'd probably be in my best interest to take it... we'll see.

I'm in the process of trying to create a driving CD that Darrell will approve of. I'm going to go pick him up tomorrow in San Diego and take him to Blythe, on account of he doesn't have a ride. I haven't seen this kid since last January, so I'm pretty stoked to see him again.

Last night my mom and grandma came to pick me up from my apartment and take me to a Christmas play called, "The Glory of Christmas." Its the retelling of the story of Jesus's birth. My fam used to take my every year when I was little and I LOVED it. But I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I suppose its lost some of its magic. Also, I'm not really sold on Christianity anymore... I'm not sure what I believe. It seems ridiculous for me to have to watch a play while I'm surrunded by hundreds of people who believe it is true while I'm sitting there laughing at the absurdity of it all.

I'm watching the movie, "Fido." Its a Canadian zombie comedy.
"Timmy Robinson's best friend in the whole wide world is a six-foot tall rotting zombie named Fido. But when FIDO eats the next-door neighbor, Mom and Dad hit the roof, and Timmy has to go to the ends of the earth to keep Fido a part of the family."

Its pretty funny so far.

Well I'm boring myself now with this blog.

PEACE!

08:17 pm - Loud and messy like finger paint on the wall.
So I was making fun of Jessica for not updating her blog enough, which reminded me I hadn't posted in several months. So now I'm trying to make myself not a hypocrite.

Since June 12th, I've moved to Riverside to go to RCC. I went on a three-day cruise to Ensenada for my birthday with Jessica. I was miserable though... my boyfriend of four and a half years essentially ended things with me because he needed "time to grow up." However, come to find out, that meant he wanted another girl. It was incredibly hard...but I'm over it now, for the most part. Anyway, I don't care to specifically dwell on that.

I just recently applied to UCR, U of O and NAU. My dad said no to Oregon, maybe to Arizona, but I should probably stay in California. I'm working on convincing him to let me go to NAU.

Okay, I'm going to get back to studying. Finals next week. Gheeeyyyyyy.

07:47 pm - janky, janky, janky
So I signed up with Jessica's agent. We went and worked as extras this past Thursday and Friday on "Deal or No Deal." It wasn't too bad. I liked getting to see how the show operates and what not. We had to be up at 5:30AM, leave at 6:30AM and be ready to work at 9:30AM. Our day ended at 7:15PM one day and 5:30PM on the other.

The agency was overbooked on Friday, so we had to take a three hour lunch, which during that time, some kid decided to commit suicide in the parking lot that Jess and I were shopping in. Fun, right?

After our long lunch, we went back and waited in line for an hour, just for Tommy (our wrangler) to say, "Okay guys. Bring me your vouchers. Your out time is 5:30."

Jessica drove home because I was exhausted and was starting to get a terrible headache. It took us about two and a half hours to get back, even though it should only take about on hour. Damn traffic.

So I got to enjoy a full night of sleep last night. A full, twelve hour night of sleep haha. It was great.

I found a place to get my hair cut down here. Its called "New Image Salon." Its in the University Village. My stylist kept asking me questions like "Do you swim? How often do you bleach your hair? Do you have a perm too?" at random times. She was also taken aback by "how badly" I needed a trim. But she did an awesome job. I also got my eyebrows threaded. Eyebrow threading involves twisting a piece of thread, usually cotton, into a double strand. This double stranded thread is used to pick up a line of hair and then remove it, creating a very clean, precise hairline.

It feels much like how  watch rips the hairs out of your arm. But it wasn't too bad. It also doesn't involve any chemicals like regular wax has. AND, it means I don't have to get it done for four weeks, instead of two.

OH YEAH! I renewed my license this past Monday! Which means, I'M GETTING A NEW PICTURE!!!!!!!!! For anyone who doesn't know, mine is TERRIBLE. I had a contest with some dude in line at DOND for who had the worst picture, and I lost. =/ So, I'm really hoping it is better then the last one.

Anywho, that is it. Wish me luck that I'll get some more background work. Going to finish watching "Parental Control."

PEACE!

08:19 pm - Watching "Family Guy" on a Tuesday night.
I'm sitting on my bed.  I've spent much of today playing WoW (level 29 now) and listening to Alkaline Trio. I also did my laundry. Jessica is off being an extra for Ice Cube's new movie, "Janky Promoters."

I signed up for Hollywood OS, so I can potentially be hired to be an extra in movies. It'll be nice to earn some extra money and be able to say, "Oh yeah...that new Denzel movie? I'm in it!" haha.

I've decided to take the month of July off. I'm waiting to hear back from my old manager, Jessica T., to see if any stores want a transfer barista. I'm starting to worry a bit because no places are hiring and my boss hasn't gotten back to me yet. =/ I guess I'll just have to wait it out and see what happens.

I'm not a hundred percent sure what I'm going to do for the next three weeks, seeing as I need to spend as little money as possible and I haven't met anyone here yet.

Anyway, its been a short blog but I'm just trying to keep it up.

PEACE

10:28 am
Yesterday, Jessica and I (and her mom, dad and Bradley) loaded up the u-haul and moved most of our stuff to Riverside! It went pretty smoothly. However, my bookshelf was broken in the process.

Jessica and I went shopping in a shopping center yesterday afternoon. We hit up Linens N Things (having a going out of business sale), Bed Bath & Beyond and Wal Mart. I spent well over $300 on new stuff for my bathroom, kitchen gadgets and a new bookshelf. But it was worth it. I have a walk in closet, an effin BATHTUB!, and more space by my sink. I really like my new room. Everything fits rather well, if I do say so myself. Our living room looks like an actual living room, not just an empty room that happened to have a couch and a TV in it, like the house in Palm Desert did.

Last night, the temperature got down to 74 degrees. It hasn't been that nice in Palm Desert since about March. It was quite pleasant being able to be outside and it feel GOOD.

The Wal Mart here looks like an actual store, almost like a Target. It was crazy, but I enjoyed it. We got in line behind someone who didn't know how to work the register. Consequently, we had to wait an additional ten minutes or so. But it didn't matter -  I was in such a fantastic mood.

However, this afternoon, we have to drive back to Palm Desert. Our Final walk through is tomorrow at 11AM, which is when Cynthia (our land lady) will tell us we won't be getting our deposit back. But tonight we will be cleaning the house thoroughly and packing up any last items we didn't have room to bring yesterday.

I work 5AM - 9:45AM. It will be my last day working at the Starbucks on Cook and Gerald Ford. Then homeward bound to do anything last minute, have the walk through, then get the HELL out of Palm Desert.

PEACE!

I got my shower curtain! Its fantastic! I want to drive to Riverside RIGHT now, but I know that I shouldn't. =/

Kaity and I made waffles and bacon this morning, which was quite tasty.

Evy left yesterday. It was very sad. I've grown so accustomed to him being around alllll the time. And now he's gone. But the kid has got to go to school so he can be in the CIA, be a senator and eventually the president. But I'll still miss him. I'm going to try and go visit him this August.

Jessica left for Europe on Monday.I've only received one e-mail so far, but it sounded as if she was having a magnificent time. I'm happy for her though. I wish I could have gone, but stuff is expensive.

Thats it for my blog. Not a lot of new stuff going on. I'm probably going to go see Kung Fu Panda tonight with my mom and my niece, Ashley. And then perhaps get a mani/pedi tomorrow after lunch. My mom treats me well. =)

PEACE!

11:44 am
Mmmm blood oranges. Satisfy the needs of your inner vampire. Kaity is currently preparing my lunch for me. (Beef Pasta, a one skillet meal!) So I decided I'd write a blog.I went to Blythe for memorial day weekend - It was fun. I got to hang out with Evan, Bradley, Kaity, Tomas, Rico, Derek and Justin. I ate at Rosita's, Lalo's, Wang's and drank waayyyy too many EZ mart sodas. The only downer on my weekend was that Jessica had to stay home while we had fun. =(

I decided to invest in a web cam. Partially because I've been interested in them for a while, partially it will help keep Evan and I in touch better. I bought one from radio shack in Blythe. I set it up right as I got home. It was REMARKABLE! I was talking to Jess with it an it amused me to no end. The idea that I can communicate with someone with a small camera with an internal mic that hangs on my computer monitor boggles my mind. I decided quickly that the $27 gigaware-brand cam lacked the necessary technology I needed. So I went out and bought a slightly more expensive, Microsoft-brand web cam. I thought I'd like it much more, but I couldn't get the damn audio to work! I had all sorts of problems with it. The video would work, but the audio wouldn't. Then I got the audio to work (BARELY) and then the video wouldn't. It was too much of a hassle. So I returned it and bought an even more slightly expensive creative brand web cam. And I'm in love!  It is everything I'd ever need...2.0 MP for video and 8.0 MP for camera...auto focus and a whole lot of stupid extras that no one really needs but are fun to mess around with. And best of all, IT WORKS! I had a conversation with Kaity with it earlier today and IT WORKED! So after going through three web cams in a day and a half, I found the one for me! =) Now I just need more people to talk to via the internet.

Two more days until PVHS 2008 graduation. Which means I will be in Blythe Friday afternoon until Sunday. AND, my dad will be out of town so it will be a weekend dedicated to hanging out with friends. I'm hoping Tomas and I will be spending a lot of time together. I miss the boy. I also hope I'll be spending some time with Evan, on account he is moving to Flagstaff in like two weeks.

In other news, I'm officially done with COD. This fall, I will be an RCC student. Hopefully next fall (2010) I will be a UCR student.

PEACE!

I'm so glad we met the way we did
I'm also glad we never tried to be more than that
You can always stay
And you can always be
A better friend than me
Better friend than me

But if someday you'd like to change your place
I understand
I can't blame you if you want to leave the state
Your state
Well go
Just don't be a stranger

And I know you
You like to leave your place
But me up on the way
I'll be begging you to stay
If you leave your place

I shouldn't have stayed here
I shouldn't have stayed here
Yeah I shouldn't have stayed here
Oh I shouldn't have stayed here in California

01:29 pm - Better, faster, stronger.
So my new battery for my lap top is AWESOME. I had forgotten how crappy my battery life used to be until I got this one.

So last tuesday I went and saw ATMOSPHERE! He was so completely awesome. He played a lot of songs off his new cd, but also some old ones. I really wanted him to play "National Disgrace" and "Wild Wild Horses" but alas, he didn't. But its all good. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. While I was there, we went to Griffith Observatory. I've always wanted to go, but have somehow never gone. It was fantastic. I got to see where Optimus hung out. =) I ALSO got to go on a tour of Chalice. Studio B is amazing. Its my favorite, by far.

Other good news, Jessica and I got approved for our apartment without co-signers! It makes me feel good haha. Our move in date is June 1st. (We get all of June free as a move in special) So I will start moving crap over soon. We just need to go sign our lease and junk like that.

We had a post Kaity's birthday party on the 8th. We (Kaity, Jess, Evan, Bradley, Derek, Lauran, Andres and I) went to go eat at Chicago Freddie's, because since Kaity first moved here, thats ALL she has talked about. We got dressed up and went.  The food was pretty good. They had a dance floor and a dude that played older songs. We all danced, event though most of us should have haha.

Other than that, Its been pretty slow around the house. Kaity and I were bored last night, so we took a whole lot of random pictures. We discovered the black and white mode on our cameras.

02:24 pm - But most of the time she doesn't even feel lifelike
Ahh. So its time for me to write a good blog, seeing as I've not been putting any effort into it for a few days.

First off, my laptop battery died Saturday. I took it to the geek squad and thats what he said. But luckily, my laptop can still be used without a battery. (as long as its plugged in and whatnot, which I didn't know) I've noticed the past month or so that my battery life hasn't been so hot, so I've tried to "exercise" it to build up its stamina. Come to find out, it was a waste of time. Thankfully Geneil bought me a three year warranty with my computer, so Best buy is sending me a new one. (I would have been out $90 had she not) It was supposed to take four to five days to get, but according to fedex.com, I should be getting it today. =)

Second, I'm getting pretty excited about moving to Riverside. I'm ready to be out of Palm Desert. There is a doggy day care, Waggin' Tails, just a few minutes from the apartment that Jess and I plan to get that I want to live in. I'm hoping that they will want to hire me. I've been trying to decide if I want to transfer to a Starbucks out there, but I think I might have finally decided against it. The only sucky part about that is that I tend to drink 10-15 dollars of Starbucks a day when on days that I work. So those drinks will be sorely missed.

Third, The past couple days have been fun! Jessica, Kaity and I drove with Evan to Chiraco Summit to meet Bradley and Chico. Bradley forgot his camera and had to take it to him. We hung out there for about an hour or so and took a ridiculous amount of pictures. They might be coming down for Kaity's birthday dinner next Thursday. They are some cool kids.

Fourth. I think I'm going to try and transfer to UCR. (I can't remember if I mentioned that in my last blog) I really feel like I could "settle" in Riverside. Not forever, of course. it would just be nice to know that I'm going to be living somewhere for at least three years and I can make it home. I really only thought I'd be living in Palm Desert for a year, so I never really took this place as home. And then when my dad said he wanted me to stay another year, I still thought in my head, "eh....a year. Shouldn't unpack just yet." haha. So we'll see what happens with that.

Fifth. Evan is moving June 7th. It makes me sad. I know he's only been here for about two months or so, but I've come to enjoy his company. He is going to be moving six hours away. And even though I want to visit him a whole bunch, Its quite likely I will only see him a couple times a year, as opposed to seeing him most everyday as I do now. =(

Well, thats it. Fedex just brought me my battery, so I'm extra excited about that. I can be mobile again! (after charging it for ten hours)

09:23 pm - Okay, it might not be so bad.
So I talked to my dad today about my school and stuff. I explained to him how upset I am about my accounting class and that I will not be able to pass it. And then I told him that it would take me another year before I could transfer to a university. I apologized for being a disappointment. I was surprised with his reaction: he said it was okay. He said that he had to take one particular math class three times, which lead him to take 4 1/2 years for school. And it took Tyler five years. He said he totally understood and that if thats what I had to do, then its what I had to do. I felt so much better after talking to him. It also gives me more time to make up classes, and I can take less units per semester.

The best part about all this is that I get to live with Jessica for another entire year! Yay! Bluejay, FTW! =)

Another conclusion I've come to is that since I have a whole other year to go for community college, I might try and take the math sequence so I can transfer to UCR. I'm not sure if I will be able to do it in time, though. We shall see.

Goodnight.

01:38 pm - Five years is too long
So, my second attempt at accounting 1A has been awful. And I will more than likely fail this class. Which sets me back. And I will probably have to stick around Riverside for a year, rather than just one semester. Which isn't all that bad - I'd be living with Bluejay. But I just didn't want school to take me five years to complete.

I e-mailed my dad to let him know what was up, and I am not looking forward to talking to him about it. I don't want to hear the disappointment in his voice, or the 'I told you so" attitude. And I definitely don't want to hear Geneil's comments on the subject. I really did try my best, but I just can't grasp accounting via the internet.

So now, I'm going to go find something to cheer me up. Fuji had better have some pretty damn good ideas. haha.

12:45 am - What a night
Kaity, Lauren, Fuji and I went and saw "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." It was way funny. And then when we got home, Fuji made margaritas. I forgot how much I dislike tequila. Kaity decided to go to sleep and then Lauren disappeared somewhere. And I think Fuji decided to go to my room to fall asleep.

So now I'm just sitting at our kitchen table, waiting for Jessica and crew to come home from Coachella fest. I'm also contemplating not sleeping tonight, for the hell of it. But now that I just typed that, I remembered that the living room is occupied, as are the rest of the rooms. So this will be an interesting evening.

I'm off to finish my conversation with Thomas about random things. Goodnight. Or whatever.

02:27 pm - Welcome back to LJ
I used to have a live journal a long long time ago. Kaity and I were in the business of talking about blogs today, and I decided to re-create one. So, I will be randomly post stuff for the hell of it.

Oh, and Dennis just texted Kaity and I the same text message. She laughed, I frowned. Not something you can do when two people live together and are sitting next to each other.

I'm thinking about going to the mall in a little bit. I shouldn't be spending more money, but I would really like to have some new clothes. Preferably more shorts of the same nature that I'm wearing now.

Kaity is listening to Plain White T's. And showing me random pictures of Limbeck. What a totally rad day. Speaking of rad and Limbeck, I met Robb this past Saturday. It was....incredible.

Hey, Evy should be here soon. Its almost 2:45. Nice.

Anywho, end of blog number one. I assume they can only get better from here.
